Hi, I’m El!

I'm a Professional Communication Coach, with a career that’s gone from Negotiations in one of the Fortune World's Most Admired Companies, to training people to handle inner and outer conflict and to find a new zest for love!

My divorce in 2013 was a pivotal moment, teaching me that love alone isn't enough without self-awareness and skilful communication resources. Despite feeling isolated and misunderstood at the time, I dove into mindfulness, authentic relating and integrity work, which combined transformed the entire trajectory of my career and life.

Through the work with my own coaches, I learned to let go of toxic shame and criticism, and to embrace an infinite game mindset.

This journey has taken me across multiple countries, where I have been applying authentic relating and gamification tools in my own life, while facilitating teams, organisations, and coaching others.

My view is that love and connection are crafted, not found, and every conversation is a chance for deeper intimacy, adventure and freedom, if we are willing to get curious, and embrace a beginner’s mindset!

  • Most of our events are a soft online landing, followed by an in person meetup, usually 30 minutes after.

  • Great question! Our events happen worldwide, locally.

    We choose the exact location depending on the number of participants and the group’s interest and we’ll give coordinates to registered participants 24-48h before the event.

  • Yes, my darling :) We do ask that you only register for groups that you have a genuine interest or passion in. You don’t have to be a pro in any of the activities, or even have tried them before, but you must be willing and excited to try them!

    In fact, it’s a great way to get started, meeting people that are most likely already deep into it :)

  • You must be legally an adult in the country we’re hosting the event. And ALL AGE groups are welcome.

    Our events are about tapping into new friends’ circles and we strongly encourage everyone to DROP the transactional ‘shopping list’ we’ve been conditioned to have when connecting with other people.

    Someone from another age group might be a real surprise connection! Remember… single people know other people, and life doesn’t always work in a straight line.

  • This is our favorite question. We used to choose and advertise dates that worked for us, and realised that the model was quite outdated.

    As soon as 6 people register for an event, BOOM, we’ll send out date options and you let us know when you can’t make it, so we agree on the one date that works for everyone. That could literally be 2 days or a few weeks from now, depending on your availability and theirs.

    Most events who have confirmed dates get advertised already fully booked for any one or all genders.

    We highly encourage you to book for a future date to avoid disappointment.

  • As much as we are inclusive, we’re also protective of our space, and the people we invite in. Our members are non-judgmental, welcoming and have done enough personal work to show up responsibly, respectfully and generously in their interactions with others.

    We’ll have a second chat with anyone we don’t think is a fit based on what they shared or how they were being in our interactions. It’s a gut feeling, and we’re very aware of our own biases.

  • We like to get to know everyone of our members a bit before they join. If you’ve been referred by a member, you can book your spot straight away or we ask that you join our next Welcome Call to find out which group is right for you.

  • While most Conscious Connections events are for people who are single and into Monogamy (call us classic, if you like), we have one group specifically designed for people who are not. 😊😜
